Krugman on Detroit, this sure beats "In God We Trust", and did somebody say scow...

I'm currently in the midst of re-reading  Hal Painter's "Captain Nemo Cookbook Papers: Everyone's Guide to Zen and the Art of Boating in Hard Times" and, as usual, it's making me smile and reminding me of stuff I tend to forget. 

It's a good read...
