This is interesting, this works for me, and some good news from Europe...

Here's a quick question...

What does a sail cost?

A while back I needed a  staysail for "So It Goes" and had quotes for the sail in the $1000-$1500 range.

Sailrite quoted $473 for a kit which, with the addition of a couple afternoons' labor (sweat equity), would have been just fine...

Just before we decided to bite the bullet on the Sailrite kit I saw a sail loft was selling off some sails (which they regularly do on Ebay) and they had a staysail that was a nearly perfect match in like new condition for $100.

So the answer to the question is...?
