It's a nice day...
The sort of day that you could row over to a little reeflet and throw some flies in the general direction of some fish. As it happens, I have a new eight weight fly rod and reel that I've yet to use and sitting on the quarter berth in all it's virgin splendour and promise is tempting.
It's also a great day to remove a pair of old stanchions that are way past their sell by date and install a couple of new stanchion bases...
Truth is, it's actually a hard decision because as fun as it is attempting to pull the lips off fishes, there is a lot of enjoyment and satisfaction in simply working on the boat on a nice sunny day in the Caribbean.
