Looking though catalogs, websites, and suchlike the last couple of days I started thinking about how half the battle of buying stuff is simply knowing what stuff should cost.
The problem is a lot of businesses nowadays don't always tell the truth, especially where prices are concerned. For instance, a lot of products have highly inflated fictional list prices and are never intended to be sold anywhere near list. So, that $999 list chart plotter marked down to its sale price of $599 might seem like a deal but, in truth $599 really is the list price.
My advice is simply to try and sort out what stuff is worth to you and keep in mind what Dr House says...
