a question...

Something that does not instill a warm fuzzy feeling, not so good news from Kiribati, and some heavy metal music that might surprise...

The other day I got hold of an interesting minimal scow cruiser design. It was, to my mind, just the sort of project a lot of folks need and fulfills a needed sweet spot in sailboat design that does not get the sort of attention it should.

Sadly, there are a lot of niche areas that could or should be filled for home builders by enterprising designers but most seem to spend their talents competing in over supplied niches while ignoring the under served potential markets.

Not really a surprise as most industries are all about the same old same while ignoring real needs of the consumer and a lot of it is the consumer's fault for not being more vocal about they want.

Which is a round-about way of my asking you what sort of boat design would you like to see that would make you want to build a boat?
