Alternative self-tailing...

EBM with some needful advice on privacy, an achievement of sorts, and in the "Passive genocide" department...

I stumbled on to these two self-tailing conversions which look pretty interesting.





They look like they'll do the job and seem to be priced affordably except for the fact that  you're required to ship the winch bell (MK1) or the entire winch (MK2) to Spain which, I'm guessing, will cost a small fortune.

That said, if your plans include cruising the Med you might want to check the company out when you're in the Barcelona neighborhood. In the meantime, you can find more information here.

On the other hand, the Wincher from Barton which I use, does the same thing for a whole lot less.
