On some transom alloymongery of note...

So, I saw this picture the other day.


You might say it sorta/kinda rocked my world. Truth be told, most stuff added to transoms are, at best, unsightly and generally problematic. However, this bit of alloymongery is so well conceived, implemented, and effectively doing its various jobs that it is, very possibly, a work of art.

I expect to be stealing these ideas soonish!

The boat in question is a Petit Monde by the French designer J. P. Brouns and built by the META yard in France. It's a pretty cool boat.
