A bit of back story, some depressing hindsight of note, and in the "Why no perp walks?" department...
OK, I don't really like ketches.
That said, I'll (grudgingly) admit they are not really a bad rig and can make a whole lot of sense when thrown into the mix by someone who knows what they are doing design-wise.
The thing is that even a well designed ketch of bespoke build at best just does not move my excitement meter needle off meh.
On the other hand, show me a beat up old schooner or lug rig of uncertain parentage and I really, really want to go check it out.
