Yep, it's a trimaran and designed by Reuel Parker.
It's also a pretty neat boat and if I were thinking of building a trimaran I'd be all over it...
That said, Parker really deserves a gold star for listing an honest payload of 2500 pounds and spells it out for the design which is the sort of thing any designer of multihulls should do as standard operating procedure but few actually do.
