Fun and frolic in history making...

A scarcity of empathy, about your boutique reality (really a must read), and a reminder of note from a real American...

Well, it would appear that we've survived 2016. What a downer of a year! That said, on a positive note, if you're still around in fifty years or so you can bore the youngsters with tales of how you lived though that momentous period that the history books will refer to as the pivotal year of the "Great Insanity".

Isn't history fun?

Which brings us to today and 2017... Truth be told, I don't really have very high hopes for 2017 being a good year. Point of fact is I expect it to be way to interesting in the Scottish/Chinese sense to be anything but a frelling scary horror show.

On the other hand, I could be wrong and wish I am.

Really.

Just one bit of advice for the coming year...

Be nice to people and care.

All the best in the new year and good luck.

So it goes...
