I'm certainly not the brightest guy around from time to time. A couple of days back I noticed a certain amount of fraying in the starting cord on our Honeywell generator...

Now, if I was smart I'd have gone straight to the hardware store, picked up some cord, and fixed the sucker that very day. But no, I decided that the fraying was not all that bad and would last a few days and I'd get around to replacing it when it was a bit more convenient.

Guess what?
