Since we were speaking of canoes...
A couple of readers pointed out that outrigger canoes might very well be just the thing for an alternative dinghy.
They just may be on to something...
I can certainly see the appeal. Though maybe not as Mirage friendly as I'm looking for.
That said, I've been looking for an excuse to pick up a copy of "Building Outrigger Sailing Canoes" by Gary Dierking (designer of some great canoes) so we'll have to see what happens...
