Not everyone thinks that pets on board are a great idea. Some might even say having pets on board is just plain stupid... Then again, some folks think a lot of stupid stuff.
Sure, having pets can be a little problematic in some places but, since we have a very low threshold for anything problematic, we tend to avoid places where owning a cat is a hassle. If that means not sailing to some places so be it (I don't know about you but I've never had a burning desire to visit Malta). The bottom line, as I see it, is a bureaucracy who can't deal intelligently with a fully documented, vaccinated, chipped, and tattooed cat ain't going to be all that great of a place for two legged folks to hang out either.
On the other hand, the positive additions that Buffy and Willow (and before them Wacka and Bullwinkle) make to our lives is so great that I feel very lucky and honored to be a part of theirs...
