EBM with a needful point, a growing cancer, and some excellent advice...
I've been replacing the windows on the hard dodger which, of course, also means a long laundry list of associated tasks and today was the second coat of paint.
The thing is I always have to fight the urge to replace things that work just fine with a new design or a different approach to building. So yeah, I've been wrestling with the idea of a new but with the advantage of hindsight hard dodger.
Maybe on the next boat...
As it happens, the new issue of PBO has a very nice DIY article on building a fixed companionway shelter/ minimal dodger which makes a whole lot of sense and well worth the cost of admission.
