Sailing Anarchy with a good film trailer/apt comment, some needful situational awareness, and a culture of casual lying and nonsense...
The other day I was thinking about how the various resources of a "How-to" nature tend to fall into a few basic zones with a lot of overlap. Firstly there's the consumerist zone which is mostly about how to spend lots and lots of money. Then you have the let's rehab this sucker which mostly tends to be turning a boat (sow's ear) into a bespoke YACHT (silk purse). On the other hand, there are a few resources where the vibe is more along the lines of just being sensible and getting stuff done in a timely manner so you can go off sailing...
... I expect you know which sort I prefer.
One of the best places to check out when creeping consumerism and project fetishization are getting you down is the Sailorama you tube channel. Seriously, this couple go through projects like a white hot knife goes through butter with no BS in the mix. For a good example of what you're missing, their most current video shows what you can do in a short haulout if you're motivated and smart. Good stuff.
So good in fact you might want to check out their Patreon page and let them know you enjoyed it!
Another resource on you tube I subscribe to and actually watch as often as he posts is AtomVoyager which always rocks...
You still here?
