Sounds like a plan, something dire from Ian Welsh you really should read, and something rather interesting about surfboard fins...
A blog I read regularly (most always a good read) recently wrote about the new Gunboat 60 and he really liked it.
I have to admit that the Gunboat 60 is a very interesting boat but, then again, you'd sort of expect a three-million dollar boat to be pretty frelling awesome and at the top of the game in the performance cruising catamaran category. There was a lot of interesting thinking went into the boat...
Ya think?
That said, I disagree with Charles Doane on the Gunboat being "the future" unless you define the future as being only for those who can afford three-million dollar boats.
The future I see for those of us who can't afford a Gunboat 60 is more along the lines of doing more with less, recycling older boats, and simpler more cost conscious designs. Which, when you think about it, is not so bad a future at all...
