Now if I were to ask you whether the airline industry or the bicycle industry pumped more money into the US economy, I'm pretty sure you'd all think airlines...

You might be surprised that, according to the Outdoor Industry Association, Americans spend more on bicycling gear and trips ($81 billion) than they do on airplane tickets ($51 billion).

That said, it's funny how sailing seems to be missing in a large way from the report...
